South Boston Tamed?

The NY Times hails South Boston as tamed by art and celebrity architects (ICA left) but the facts on the ground (like a bar stabbing in Whitey's old hangout) suggest that the transformation isn't complete.  Or that there's still a bit of a difference from the waterfront and old Southie.
